WE ARE THE FOUNDING FEMALES

ABOUT US
We didn't choose Changhua, Changhua  chose us. But honestly, things ended up being pretty ok.

Actually, better than ok.

It was hard being a first year placement. And it will probably be a little hard the second year too. You see, the thing is, Changhua is rural but it's not like Taitung rural-- meaning it's not the type of rural that foreigners go to for vacation. That's not to say it doesn't have it's charm. Changhua is an agricultural county with plenty of sprawling rice paddies and  banana trees, but is dense in the townships where people cluster. It's really underrepresented in the English blogosphere, so there's a lot to stumble upon. There are actually a lot of events and things to do here...  except they are a bit harder to find. The important thing is to remember they exist.

There were no steps for us to follow, so we paved our way. Well. Maybe not paved but you can at least see some impressions in the grass from where we've walked and tried to find the way-- find restaurants, cafe's, and things to do. Changhua has formed its own special place in our hearts. And we hope you will love it too.
